Touring the Palace of Holyroodhouse: The King's Edinburgh Residence
Touring the Palace of Holyroodhouse means grand royal apartments, 900-year-old abbey ruins, and a 16th-century murder scene with bloodstains still on the floor… so yeah, it's a lot more interesting than your average palace visit. It's one of those Edinburgh stops that earns its place on the itinerary without question. Highly recommend, and bring a rain jacket.
